What is Jacks or Better and why is it so popular?
Jacks or Better is one of the most well-known video poker games in the world. It is based on classic five-card draw poker, where your goal is to form a hand equal to or better than a pair of Jacks. On the kg998 platform, this game appeals equally to new and experienced players thanks to its straightforward rules and transparent pay table.

Jacks or Better Hand Rankings

* A pair of tens (10) or lower does not win — hence the name "Jacks or Better".
Best Strategy to Win
Applying the right strategy in Jacks or Better makes your decisions more effective. Follow these core principles when playing at kg998.
Keep a winning hand
If you already have a winning hand — even a simple pair of Jacks — always hold those cards. Do not give up a guaranteed win chasing an uncertain Royal Flush.
Hold high card pairs
Hold high cards like J, Q, K and A because they give you a better chance of forming a Jacks pair. Discard low cards and aim for high cards on the draw.
Chase a flush draw
If you have four cards of the same suit, draw for the fifth. The chances of completing a flush are good and the payout is attractive.
Consider a straight draw
If you have four consecutive cards (open-ended), try to complete the straight. However, be cautious when you need a card in the middle.
Go for a Royal Flush opportunity
If you have three or four Royal Flush cards, replace the rest — the Royal Flush is the game's highest payout, so take advantage of this opportunity.
Set a budget
Before each session at kg998, decide on your budget. Consistently placing smaller bets makes sessions last longer and more enjoyable.
